Watching CNN now, definately lost the nomination. Guy being interviewed said that Ron Paul had tremendous support on the internet (people like us), but that didn't translate to the polls due to us being lazy and or underage. Too bad. I've been trying to hold onto some hope he could be our president, but alas. :nopity:
Ron Paul has said that he wont give up if we don't give up on him. He is still in the race, and i am still voting for him in the primaries and in the November elections.
Im a registered republican but have very liberal viewpoints. I do this because come primary time I wanna choose who out of the people I will prolly not vote for will be represented. So if my guy loses the person on the other side has some points that I like. But yeah I voted for Ron today in the NY republican primary.
Good job for you guys that voted and arent all negative defeatist attitude like this poster. I voted for him today, fuck the polls. Ok since it shows mccains winning were just gonna give up and let the old fuck take over to do away with more rights and continue the war on marijuana. Like the polls werent biased from the beginning, like the debates werent biased from the beginning. They have always shown these cadidates above Ron Paul. EVEN when the candidates drop out(giuliani,edwards) They STILL get more coverage than Ron Paul. The debates got caught with loaded and ready questions. They refuse to let Ron Paul participate despite his pressure of determination. BECAUSE THEY are owned by people that do not want him to gain any mention. Its so corrupt i dont even know what to say except saying he's fucked doesnt help, it just shows your a poor citizen thats ready to give up and not stand for what you believe in.
that's just negative and unproductive. I'm voting for who i think is the best candidate... not who is most likely to win...
^Actually that's not good for her, because RP will never win; it's a wasted vote. Did you watch TV at all last night? If the heavens opened up, Jesus came back to earth, we all held hands spanning around the globe, and by some chance he DID win (he won't), 99% of what he wants to do would never get done with Washington in the state it's in right now. I wanted the good Dr Paul to win too, hell, I donated over a hundred bucks to the cause, but it's better to vote for a candidate who can actually win and maybe get a few things done... The lesser of evils.....
but its that exact kind of thinking that makes it so people don't win! Because people won't vote for them; not because they disagree, but because they all think he won't win.... Thanks Willy Wonka for backing me up (;
I do see your point, and I do agree, but there's no chance he''s going to win at this point. Why throw away a vote now, when it really does matter... 4-5 Monthes ago I was a huge RP supporter, go and look back at my posts. I wish it worked out better for him and his name got out into the mainstream media but he never did.
how in the fuck do you go from supporting ron paul to voting for a democrat? that makes absolutely no sense.. the lesser of evils? evil is still evil.. id rather waste my vote than vote for "the lesser of evils",,.. democrat huh?? im sure dr. paul would be proud.. pffft...
