I got... $300, a $25 gift card of Weis Markets, a free car wash gift card, a $50 gift card to a restaurant near me, a pearl ring with gold in the middle, a necklace, new pajamas, a sweater, a fleece, three pairs of COMFY socks, body spray-bath gel and lotion, a cat scarf, a homemade scarf, two mystery books, three books on lighthouses, a griddle, a 35 mm. camera, 6 rolls of film, a cook book, a framed picture, a purse, a picture frame, a VIDEO CAMERA that is both digital and "regular", a tool dvd, a $40 borders gift card, toys for my cats, whole bean coffee, candles, ornaments, trival prusuit, uno,a new dvd drive, dishes and some other things that i cant rememeber.

edit- and how could i forget that i got a bare escentuals make up kit? plus about 7 extras to go with the kit. i love it.

Well, seeing as my family does not celebrate x-mas I got nothing......but I want to ask you about that bare essentials make-up kit.......
(got to start job interviewing...need to wear a little makeup to appear 'put together") and I saw that on tv. Is the stuff as good as they advertise it to be? How about the face powder that is supposed to be a good base? If you havent tried it yet then pm me when you find out.

i got a robe and a britney spears cd. oh, and some froo-froo bath stuff. fucking britney spears. but it was a fun day. kai opened a couple gifts, lost interest, played with the paper and her baby. she got a really good story book from her grandma. good pictures are essential for toddlers storybooks. she's going to love it. books are becoming a tradition in our family, including the in-laws. since me and roger joined the clan the whole family has been reading more. it's really good. i got my stepson 8 different books, he's a real big reader, loves them. a couple sci-fi/fantasy books, a couple funny books, and a thriller. we ate a lot of food yesterday, the grazing was very good. you know that feeling when you're kinda starting to get a buzz of all the culinary goodies, then you get sleepy? we got that, but our daughter didn't.

 

bare escentuals is the only make up that i like. my mom has been "collecting" it for a while and i tried it when i was at the beach with her over the summer. It's really good. I like all of it but I like their "mineral veil" the most. Even though im in my pj's... i put on all the make up of theirs that i could today.... and i think it appears practically natural but good. if i knew where my digital camera was, i would take a picture to show you....

 

We did'nt do a whole lot for Christmas this year. It was agreed upon by our family. Me and my sister have so much stuff as it is that we dont have room for anything else, no joke. I think of christmas as being mostly for little kids. I did get a portable cd player though. Lennox sound cd-52. My 16 year old cousin got a car in the garage and a bunch of presents under the tree. hope everybody had a happy holiday. we just went to my sisters for dinner and to listen to my brother in law bitch and moan the whole time we were there. Mostly he stayed in the basement though. My dads side of the family, huh! well lets just say it was the typical disfunctional family christmas it is every year. One cousin in jail on drug charges with a 20,000 dollar bond. One of her girls quite school the other girl got kicked out of public school permanently. The oldest of the two girls got into it with my aunt here recently because my aunt told her she could'nt go anywhere, so she just pushed my aunt out of the way stole the car keys ran out got in the car, my aunts boyfriend tried to shut off the car but little cousin just drug him down the street with the car and mangled up his leg. My uncle just stayed back in his room like he always does not realy blame him with all the bitching and fighting that was going on. I just sat in there looking around at everybody and giggled.

 

hehe, yeah, i got that buzz yesterday. lots n lots of good food. anyways, that's cool that you guys are so into books... i absolutly love books. id say they are one of my fav. things to get.

 

i had my family together not my dad thought cause he was stuck in the blizzard in KY...i got a pink panther watch but my joy came from my kids

I dont want to shell out the money only to realize that any drug store brand would've done the same "natural look"...bleh, I hate having to wear makeup. Damn job interviews! Kids are what give me the most joy at christmas. I love to watch them open there gifts. I think that is the best christmas an adult could have.

 

I got a 40 oz. to Freedom t-shirt, a pair of righteous sunglasses, a Dark Side of the Moon baseball tee, a red hoodie and lots o' cookies.

 

Hmmmmmmmmmm well with the 415 bucks of gift cards,, an the other garbage ya got,,
yah outta be able to pawn it all an retain ya a lawyer fer yer stupid shit the other week,,
that youll be bitchin bout next week,,,
but you wont do that,, an the folks that gave ya all that meaningless crap dont have a clue,,
so they will bale ya out again while the whole time you will feel sooooooo deserving...

good lord,,, to look at the lists of what some people got for xmas,,,, makes me ill,,,, and to think that these long lovely gift lists were from adults to me is quite pathetic and appallin ,,, majin iffin they was twelve,,, what the list would be like..... then we wonder what the fuk is wrong with the world..... buying love or care for others is such a fawkin joke,,,,

ummmmmmmm gee well i think it istotally retarded n stupid quite personally,,, i buy gifts for one or give gifts to one when it is something i truly want to give to someone from the heart, not cuz i oughtta or i should or cuz its the christmassy thing to do,,, and to me when one goes n buys all sorts of unneccessary items n gives them to one just cuz they should is also wrongwrongwrongggggggggggggg

the actual act of gifting is not bothersome to me,,, tis more the concept in which this gifting has evolved thru the years that bothers me and that ppl feel they need to buy others loyalty love affection, friendship what have you that does,,,, ,,

 

i doubt ill find my digital camera cause it's been lost for a while. mineral veil is the thing you use at the end... it kinda just takes impurities outta the face and makes it look smooth and nice. im not good at explaining things- haha.

anyways, i dont like wearing make up either but i like this stuff a lot. it's all natural and contains sunscreen, minerals, etc.

anyways, ill give you my word that it's good stuff.

and yeah, i think the gift giving can be retarded at times.... but its family tradition on both sides of my family and i love them all very much. every gift that i get from them i apprieciatte very much. some people LIKE to give gifts.... as i do as well. even though i didnt have much money to buy things for people this year... it is still the thought that counts.

dan and i didnt buy anything for each other though this year.... we just didnt see the need.
