i love my mp3 player with 20 gigs of space on it. i can even plug it into my car stereo and never even have the need for a cd. 4000 great songs at the touch of a button. so i mostly listen to that.

hmmm i prefer minidisc. ATRAC is very good, plus i like to be able to 'see' and 'hold' my music, i don't really like it to be all inside a little box with a window.
also i'm a musician and minidisc is better than mp3 for studio work and recordings. mp3 is compressed too... :p
    :D

In my car: One 12" sub for the low end bass, 2 6x9s in the back for the mids, and two super tweeters up front for the super highs.

At home: a Technics receiver which i cant remember the model number. 4 speakers which surround my lazy boy engulfing me in the sound.

Wholly crap! Get out of my mind!!! You have an ipod too! I had just finished convincing myself that girls like you didn't exsist! I wanna wire my iPod into my car but I lack an input, so I use the iTrip FM transmitter. It works in a pinch, as for home music. I've got my music on my PC shared across my home network so I can listen to it from any computer or my X-Box across the house, and I've got 5.1 Surround in my room. I'm a total audiophile, I'll spend hours tweaking treble and bass if somthing doesn't sound right.

I've got my pc hooked up to an 80watt soundman stereo. It's old, but it's still going strong. I've got two 3foot panasonic speakers, each with a ten inch speaker, an eight inch speaker, and a small tweeter horn. I've got a record player, pretty generic 60's style, direct drive. Like the stereo, it's still going strong. My uncle has two mint condition tech1200's(mid-80's), I think he might give them to me for christmas**crosses fingers** Oh yeah, I have a samsung yepp 180mb. No, I did'nt want a fucking ipod. When we route the phone cable into my room this winter, I'm gonna get some cable, and get two more speakers, so I'll have one in each corner. Man, if I get to do that and get the technics, this'll be the best xmas ever.

I listen to my music on my Toshiba laptop. The good thing is since I've gotten the Internet, I can rent CDs and save albums on my computer.
