they are using some kind of explosive, you can feel the concussion from here, if only gently.

 

There was a hostage situation one time a few blocks from my house, with guns and everything... it was pretty troubling as our regular police don't deal with that on a daily basis.

 

Thats awesome. I hope someone dies.

Aw man, lucky! The most police action we get on our street is...well, when the cops decided to raid our house.

 

this happens probably once every three years or so, that's sun valley for ya.

 

One summer we hung out on a block (because our friends like populated the entire block, lol) down the street from this suicidal lady. There was a commotion at her house at least once every 2 weeks until she finally succeeded one night. Her boyfriend who was like 15 years younger than her boned her after she died, he was all fucked up on pills, too...now he's even more of a trashed out basket case than he ever was before.

Almost forgot to mention that he didn't know she was dead when he boned her. I'm so eloquent.

 

Wait he boned her after she died!? was he just fucked up or was it because he was out of it he didnt know!?

Yeah...it was insane. The most interesting summer I've EVER had. You hang out at a convenience store in a small town for 3 months and you come away with amazing stories. And bad dietary habits.

i live across the street from a bar and we see bar hag fights, Immigration, popo, cars in ditches with 12 drunks trying to lift a dually, shots, cars peeling out and burning rubber to the dumpster truck coming at 4 am to remove a weeks worth of glass bottles.
Then there's my neighbors who call the cops every other week coz the dude beats her and her daughter calls the cops.
And thats only on the 8 days a month that Im home.

look around the neighborhood, we don't do things plumb, level, or square here (also, most of the "houses" here are trailers, not all, but most)
