My sister living in another state said she saw my exact double. According to mythology it's sometimes thought of as a bad omen. But I think there's been many times that others have said they saw my exact double and nothing happened. But those times I was unaware of the doppelganger myth. Now that I know what it is it's easy to get paranoid about it, especially since it happened when I was having a tough emotional time. Any others see or have others see your doppelganger and got scared only to find out that nothing bad happened?
ive heard it yes, one time where i use to work not to long ago.. it was a home improvment store and i eventually saw the guy that this peticluar person said looked exactly like me and the guy looked nothing like me imho. im fully tattooed almost from head to toe. now this guy did have sleeves and did resemble me but most defintly was not my exact double.
There will always be somebody who looks fairly similar to you. I don't believe all this rubbish about exact doubles...or a bad omen. You tend to see DGs briefly out of the corner of your eye or from a distance.
A Few Years Ago There Was This Guy That Was So Like Me Some Of My Friends Used To Say Hi Glen And Couldn't Understand Why I Was Snobbing Them. Then Next Time I Saw Them They Asked Why I Had The S**ts With Them. Finally I Got To See Him Walking Down The Street And To Say It Was Scarey Would Be An Understatement.. Like Looking In A Mirror. Thank Heavens He Didn't Commit Any Crimes In The Short Time He Lived Here, Or I Might Be Typing This From The Prison Library... Cheers Glen.
I have been approached by others who thought I was somebody they met in prison. That wasn't very pleasant.
I was reading Phil Lesh's book on life with the Dead, called Searching For The Sound. but anyways, in that book, he recalls an experience where Jerry and the gang were frantically searching for him at some orchestra, because they found his double. what's even cooler is that Phil's double was the guy who was playing the Cello in the orchestra, and Phil played Bass in the Dead. he said he searched for him after the show but to no avail.
