For me its that I can see the Ocean from my back porch, er um fire escape that is used as a porch. Granted its the Back Bay and I have to look beyond the highway to see it, but its still comforting that its there and nice to look at at sunset. What do you love about your home?
Everything! But if I had to choose just a few it would be a laundry room, big closets, nice view and great light that I get! I love the way my house is furnished too, so cozy and cute.
That would be my favourite thing as well. I love that I can go to the beach and see the ocean in less than two minutes.
I love that this one will be mine!!! I've lived in several apartments now with my ex, but this time, this one will belong solely to me!!! I can't wait.
Oh yeah, I nearly forgot, I used to love the massive pecan tree in the backyard.. Biggest I've ever seen. But then it fell on my house. That kinda sucked.
Our kitchen because my mom got industrial grade kitchen appliances the cook top is especially bitching because of the built in halogen burner that kinda functions like a gas one...it's cool and being the recently new cheif that I am I finally appreciate it, the view from my bedroom that looks out on the hill next to us and our backyard is pretty cool and serene it's multi-tiered and I love naping on the couch outside or in the lounge chair next to the native plant garden that I did all by myself...even took out a huge lime tree which was a bitch but fun as hell planting after all the hard stuff was done. Yeah it would be very hard to move out because this will always be 'home'.
I love the hole in the kitchen ceiling caused by a leak that seems to be unfixable. Ive got an attatchment to it.
I love a lot of things about my home. I love my new tv and our fire place. My husband built a laundry shoot in the bathroom that just so happens to be right above the laundry room. The clothing drops in a basket in front of the washer. I have been spoiled not having to carry laundry downstairs. We are house hunting for a bigger home and every time we come home after house hunting I am always happy to be right back here. We've had a great run here with our children. I am excited to soon have a pool room for us and a play room for the boys. As much as I love our home we need more space. We are maxed out!
that's no good I love that my house is pretty old (at least 1940's, if not older) for my city... it still has the old knobs and keyholes (Though no keys for 'em) on the bedrooms, the old knobs and locks on the outside door and the washroom door, the neat little architectural detail to seperate the living and dining rooms while still maxing out on space, and the huge backyard. Oh, and that our tub is pretty freaking big, that's cool too. I do really wish that the kitchen and my bedroom were larger though.
i like that i dont have to do any yardwork, yet have access to a big green space other than that, i want to move. it's past time for a change of scenery and a new space. laundry shoots are so much fun~we had one in one of the houses i lived in growing up. of course, the younger kids would throw weird things down it (toys mostly), but it was very handy.
well, i did love my porch. was so nice to go out on a nice day and just sit there, staring into the sky. but now, the porch is ripped up, and i dunno when its gonna be fixed, so that we can actually go out on it... huge mistake my father made in letting my sisters boyfriend and his friends rip it up...should have just called a professional to redo the whole thing at once. now, it looks like shit and you can't do anything out on it until its gets fixed up...
I like how I can walk outside my house and it's QUIET...especially in the winter...you can't hear a thing! And in the summer you hear the birds singing and the crickets chirping...it's a wonderful thing.
i so envy you! being able to see the ocean from anywhere on my property is my life dream and goal... well, it seems like more of a dream and less of a goal but it's still a goal i suppose... in any case... yer lucky! hmmm around here i like that when i look outside there is lots of grass and tons of trees... its kinda pretty out my window.
