Do you think language can be music or is music? How can language be music, or musical?

I would say that music is inherent to the human condition. Language biologicaly is not. If you don't grow up with people speaking to you or around you, you will not be able to learn it. I think music is deeper than that and is in fact biological. I don't know I guess. I can't imagine a world with out music. I think music came about because of the wonderful pattern recognition that we are gifted with. Whales do it I guess....

There are some native languages in Africa that are actually sung rather than spoken. It helps people communicate over long distances. Before writing was invented, the entire history of a tribe would be turned into a song for easy telling, which can go on for hours.

Many African dialects are musical sounding when spoken too.
