I once made a soundtrack of my life. It featured 'what's my age again?' from Blink 182 That's mostly because of the lyrics, I'm usually pretty childlike, that's why. It had Mother North from Satyricon too, of course, another black metal anthem at least, and at least one song I cry about. And the mandatory ode to world destruction to fit my darker moods. I can't remember most of them though... Oh and I'd buy it if it wasn't too expensive. I don't know all songs by far but the ones I do know are very nice so I guess the rest would too.
im gonna make one to, but use the same scheme that micha did. 1)Opening credits: Sweet Adeline - Elliott Smith 2)Waking up/Getting Dressed: This is the Way - Devendra Banhart 3)Average day: Today I Was an Evil One - Bonnie 'Prince' Billy 4)First date: Reasons - Built To Spill 5)Falling in love: Winters Love - Animal Collective 6)Love scene: Lover's Spit - Broken Social Scene 7)Fight scene: 'Cross The Breeze - Sonic Youth 8)Breaking up: Your Gonna Miss Me - 13th Floor Elevators / I Didnt Understand - Elliott Smith 9)Getting back together: A Quick One While He's Away - The Who 10)Secret love: Love Is Like Jazz - The Magnetic Fields 11)Life's okay: Getting The Done Job - The Books 12)Having Fun With Best Friend: Mushaboom - Feist 13)Mental breakdown: Walking to Work in the Year 2025(Your Invisible Now) 14)Learning a lesson: I Can Learn - The White Stripes 15)Confused: Treefingers - Radiohead 16)Flashback: Gold Soundz - Pavement 17)Night on the Town: All The Pretty Girls Go To the City - Spoon 18)Happy Times: We Tigers - Animal Collective 19)Under the Influence: Free Your Mind and Your Ass Will Follow - Funkadelic 20)Upset: Way To Blue - Nick Drake 21)Long night alone: Svefn-g-englar - Sigur Rós 22)Everything is all Better: You Enjoy Myself - Phish 23)Closing credits: Random Rules - Silver Jews

Love Paul's soundtrack. I wake up to "This is the Way" like all the time. I like George's too. MAGNOLIA MOUNTAIN HAS BEEN POSTED TWICE! That makes me so happy! (I'm a gi-normous Ryan fan. Love him!) Well, this makes the third: I have the myspace one . . . I like it better because it has a few extra things ("death scene", etc--it would make a REALLY long movie.) I honestly spent like an hour deciding all this and getting it perfect--I wanted to have a lot of classic rock, but I couldn't leave out all my great modern alternative artists like Wilco and Elliott (and of course Ryan <3). Here it is. Opening credits: Twilight - Elliott Smith Waking up: Skyway - The Replacements Average day: Monday - Wilco First date: Keep Me In Your Heart - Warren Zevon Falling in love: This Year's Love - David Gray Love scene: Eastern Glow - Album Leaf Fight scene: Maps - Yeah Yeah Yeahs Breaking up: Quiet - Rachel Yamagata Getting back together: High and Dry - Radiohead Secret love: The Blower's Daughter [...or maybe "Delicate"] - Damien Rice Life's okay: The Only Living Boy In New York - Simon and Garfunkel Mental breakdown: Lover I Don't Have to Love - Bright Eyes Driving: Ventura Highway - America Learning a lesson: Amsterdam - Coldplay Deep thought: Transatlanticism - Death Cab For Cutie Flashback: Upward Over the Mountain - Iron & Wine Partying: Volunteers - Jefferson Airplane Happy dance: Friend of the Devil - Grateful Dead Regreting: To Be Alone With You - Sufjan Stevens Long night alone: Comfortable - John Mayer Death scene: Autumn's Child - Devendra Banhart Closing credits: Magnolia Mountain - Ryan Adams & the Cardinals YAY! What do you think? What would the soundtrack to YOUR life be? Now that is a profound, important question, especially if you're a musician or music lover.
