spain is... one of those countries i'd like to see, but will probably take ages for me to get there...
Hmmm... I've heard the opposite... and from what I've seen in pictures, it's very nice... I think it's the second most popular tourist destination -after the US- which is an achievement, considering it's about the size of Texas!
Spain is beautiful!! THE coolest cave I've ever been inside was down on the south in Nerja...I think it has the tallest ... stalagmite/stalagtite...it's humongous..and an amazing cave.. Galacia up in the northwest pops into my head pretty regularly, kinda reminded me of hwy 1 in cal. Yeah, spain is very beautiful..although, it is the only european country i have been to.. I thought the picos de europa up north were really cool..little villages up in the mountains way up high, cows roaming the green hills with the coolest sound of cowbells hanging around their necks..man I loved it there..we were there in the end of april, for feria down in seville and that was cool..everyone wearing their flamenco dresses and riding down the streets on horse-drawn carriages.. actually before I went, spain wasn't really all that appealing to me, for some reason, but I think it is beautiful now!
Sounds like you were all over, earthfriend. How long were you there? I think that if I went to Spain I'd like to have the chance to cover the whole country - from Moorish Andalucía to Celtic Cantabria! I'd also like to go to Portugal; I've heard Lisbon is beautiful
spain is awesome...despite the fact that i was pickpocketed TWICE in a matter of three days...once at the running of the bulls (as i was passed out drunk in some park...stupid) and once in barcelona. the girls in spain have the best haircuts...those short little bangs, short sides, and long mulletty back...i wish girls in america would take a lesson in style from these senoritas...san sebastian was the most beautiful city i have ever been to...awesome people, awesome beaches...man...i can't wait to go back next summer...TORO!!!!!!
I went to Spain this past April and loved it. I went with my school through the company Explorica. We went to Madrid, Seville, Granada, Córdoba, Toledo, and Costa del Sol. We stayed for 9 days and we went all over!!!!! Places we visited in each city and what we did: Madrid- Palacio Real, Templo de Debod, Museo Nacional del Prado, Plaza Mayor, Parque del Retiro, Plaza España, Atoche Gardens Córdoba-Río Guadalquivir, had a tapas dinner, Mesquita/Catedral de Córdoba Sevilla-Pabellón de España, Catedral de Sevilla, went shopping, saw a Flamenco dance Granada-La Alhambra Cost del Sol-we hung out on the beach! And we took taxis to Mijas I had the time of my life and got to try Spanish food like tapas, churros, paella and REAL empanadas-not just the ones i make at home. I can't tell you how much fun i had and how much i learned from that trip!!! I want to stay in Spain for a while when i go to college too ¡Adiós!

If you go to Spain (Costa Del Sol) area you must hire a car or moped and travel up to the mountains of Mijas, believe me you will not regret it. No tourists and the Spanish people in this area are so friendly and accommodating. Spanish woman are some of the best woman I've ever met. Puerto Banus in Marbella is also worth a visit.
The place to be in Spain in Barcelona. The city is amazing and there is loads to do. The best women are here as wel!! Plus you have the best stadium and football team here!
