    ahh the physics are incorrect in your link. when you create a warp feild, the space is moving, so there wouldnt be any inertia at all in the ship.

    like i said, if someone wants to talk about it, then let me know. typing sux.

    the photon torpedo quandry is easily explained...

    your not shooting a lump of antimatter at a ship, the antimatter is contained inside a torpedo tube inside a magnetic field...when the tube hits, it breaks everything inside including electronic components...when that happens the magnetic sheilding keeping the antimatter from mingling with matter is nullified...its like filling a glass bottle with baking soda and vinegar...quickly closing it off and throwing it at the pavement...
