Ok I want to preface this with the fact that I wrote it at 3 in the morning, It's about somebody I care for more then anything else and they don't get it despite the fact we are perfect.

    Staring across you, stumbling
    Days of optical confession
    Vulgar fancy
Transgressed into new planes of knowledge
    Write Manson poetry, exquisite melody
Risque' blue windowpanes covered in steam
Looking you over a view of uncertain desire
    Lingering on
    Cutting through my battered skin
    A desperate sensation
    Lingering on in vulgar fancy
    Staring across you, stumbling
Solace in hues I did not know
    Shaken I mouth common melody
Saved from darkened shades of onyx
    Towards twilight I peer
    Singing your songs of comfort
Looking you over a view of uncertain desire
    Shaken I sing common melody
As you roam your generous harlot
    Absent from memory
Trying to forget I stumble upon others
    Overpowered by visions of you
Try and forget, move on and remember
    Looking back
    Lingering on in amorous fancy

In harrowing withdrawal I walk this path
    Staring across you, stumbling
    Shaken I scream common melody
    Clawing for notice
As you roam your generous harlot
    Lingering on...

I like it too. It sounds like it should be a song b/c of the places where you choose to repeat certain lines.

Thanks,I'd like to turn a lot of my work into song but I have a hard time putting it into a melody.
