Im so sick inside cause one of the builders I build for is a very decent older dude, but about six months ago I printed a list of the counties sex offenders for a lady friend. So last night I was in deep thought and it hit me where id seen his name and pic....and sure enough its him on the list. His conviction was 10 years ago but fuck, I seen him today and called him by his full name as listed on the site and he gave me a very odd look, but I said its ok charlie we all got our secrets, some are just a bit deeper than others. But im still wigged out..... Would this bother you? Im so sick about it but I cant give up this builder over it.
I don't know....I know a couple dudes from my state sexual offender list.....and I steer very clear of them. They are pretty fucked up.
What exactly did he do, was it a rape thing, or a statutory thing? Sometimes people can do rather mild things and get screwed over, but if he did molest kids or rape someone, i would avoid him.
We're in the same state, just different ends. I'm near philly so I'm sure there's more in this area. I wear a .22 on my ankle. Come near my children, they will catch a few slugs in the noggin.
whats creepy is that I went to high school with one of the ones I know.....I used to hang out with the guy sometimes.....I'm not sure if he was like that back then or not.....he didn't seem like it, but I guess everyone has their secrets.
That would be a pretty weird thing to find out - I'm not sure I'd be able to keep my mouth shut about it for long with the other work dudes.. But in most jobs when working for a company I avoid anyone in authority anyway -
Recently it seems the folks you think would be on it arnt and the ones youd never guess are. He was 50 when convicted of child molo, not no stat rape thing and here in ga I think it outlines it as being a child, not a young adult. But who am I to judge anyone other than fucking around on here, but I mean in real life....im not. Its business with him other than a few times sitting talking at his place after work while he gets trashed drunk cause hes a ok guy to talk to. Hes been a builder all his life and has big money but seems he couldnt buy his way out of that.....but here again im sure hes paid in more ways than one can imagine. Id post the link cause its common public info if you look for it but its not my place. I wont share the info with anyone in that circle cause its not my place, but did show my main helper cause he knew I was off about somthing today...so I pulled the copy out of my lil work briefcase and showed him....he said dam.....didnt see that one commin. I cant speek on it no more, just looking for input. thanks.
Wow that is a trickey situation, on one hand im sure you dont want to be around him or have anything to do with him, on the other hand is it right to fire him if he's done the time and works well (and also if you dont suspect him being up to his old 'business'). The answer to this dillema is very simple though... "i don't know"
eek thats creepy man, don't think I'd be drinking with him anymore, especially not at his place. I guess i would just keep it at a business level...of course you aren't a kid, so its not your ass he could be after, still though, that's a crime for a very good reason.
Maybe I mis typed, I work for him. Hes one of the builders I build for, but have done five new houses in the past seven months and he pays well and is easy to deal with. And hes very well known and respected here. I know when to keep my mouth shut and this is one of those times Ive no choice. And sea...I dont drink, I visit while he drinks and we kick around work ideas. Fuck he just sold a 290k home today and invited all out for pizza and beer, but I said thanks but I gots things to do.
State Authorities here in Jersey are admandant about not transmitting that info to another party, or showing off a print out. Don't know if Georgia authorities feel the same? I wouldn't stir up my working environment by outing a co-worker.
Yeah sorry man, im a bit sick today, my mistake. It's better this way i guess i mean it's not your responsibility atleast. I mean you don't have to like the guy to work for him, i'd feel uncomfortable working with him but i wouldn't lose any sleep either.
The statutory rape thing is still rape. An underage girl doesn't become grown just because your penis is hard. I'm guessing that he was young and she/he was also young. They make these rules for a reason though people. Girls only mature faster than boys when it comes to getting pregnant at an early age. Men reach their sexual peak at 18 ladies reach theirs around 35. Men become sexually dysfuntunal at 35-55, ladies go through the change between 43-52. The ladies mature faster than men is a load of whoey because teenage girls will believe some of the most stupid things just to keep a guy, get a guy and so forth. (I'm rambling, sorry) Anyway, if society says that he has served his time then try to accept him. You don't have to feel like you have to act a certain way towards him; after all, he did the crime not you. Just treat him fairly on the job.
I simply do not view an 18 year old sleeping with a 17 year old as a crime, no matter what the law says. As to the rest of your post, I don't agree either.
Well R. Kelly rules are rules and wether you see the logig through the tress is illrelevent. As far as agree with my post then you are in great company. (Hardly anyone agress or for that matter listens to a thing I have to say so I've given up on that aspect lol.) Here's the thing. You are looking at a girl's body and thinking, hey that's hot so her body is tight so she knows wear it's at but she doesn't. They are alot of Mentally challanged girls of 17 with big tits that say yes penis yes yes but society doesn't want to pay for those babies you pump in and deny so the answer from the state and our tax dollars has to be no thank you. What's wrong with 18?
I'm not trying to attack you Bellfire, and even though i seldom agree with you, i still read and enjoy your posts. Not many agree with me either. I just see a true violent rape, or a child molestation as being far different than a 15 and 18 year old having sex consensually. I have no problem with the 18 year old limit except for situations like this. i was 17 and dating a 15 year old, there was no legal issue, I turned 18 and all of a sudden it could be considered a crime, even though its still consensual. If no one is being taken advantage of, no crime. The mentally slow person who is 21 may still have the mentatlity of of a 12 year old, but now the law no longer applies. Its just not a black and white issue centering around age 18. If both parties are into it, and the age difference isn't what I consider sick (very technical I know) like a 20 year old and a 12 year old, then I don't see the problem really. Believe me, i'm not in favor of young people being taken advantage of by experienced elders. I'm still more against people attacking and raping each other or molesting a child. If i knew a person who had done that at any point in their life, I would definitely avoid them, like I would a murderer. and fuck R. Kelly, man that guy sucks! (generally sucks 14 year olds)
I know that Seamonster and I seldom agree but enjoy your post. It's more fun to have different view points. I just like to be right alot lol. I thought you could apprieciate this lol. (I can't believe they actually have a chart for this.)http://www.ageofconsent.com/ageofconsent.htm
