Hey yall I've never eatin acid but I've read tons and tons of trip reports and talked to a few people. It seems like at least half the time people are on the brink of loosing control. I know lsd isn't for everyone, but it almost seems like you need to be of a special breed to handle the experience. How do people manage to stay calm while they look at buildings that are thousands of miles tall and people are splitting apart, all the while your mind is racing? A friend of a friend feels like he could handle it but since so many people are at near freak-out the entire time, it makes him a little uneasy.
Well, I dont know, I lost my mind a few years ago, I'll let ya know if I ever find it again and explain how not to lose it
dont try to stay calm... how is that fun? Go freak the fuck out for a change, its very nice and refreshing.
haha yea true enough so do you guys think that most people who are anxiously on the brink of loosing control just won't give in?
Yea, freaking out is damn good. It's like. Wow. I mean I actually talk to my friends who do acid and it's like, none of them have had anything even close to the sort of experiences I've had, and then I realise, what I might consider a "bad trip", is a side of acid some people will never see (at least not on a recreational dose at any rate).
I find that in every trip there's the 'loosing control' part and the 'wow, what the fuuuuck' part. There'll always be a bit of pain in tripping, acid as well as other stuff. But so long as you don't deny the 'bad trip' part, as in, you recognise that this is part of yourself and there's a reason why your mind showing you this (possibly because you're suppressing it in everday life). Just stare the fear straight in the eyes, and the mind-blowingly amazing part will naturally come skipping along.
Hmm it really seems to be coming down to your perception, just like in day-to-day living. My friends and I are all positive and optimistic people and we're realized that bad things practically never happen to us, but we got to thinking that much of it probably stems from the fact that we don't view anything as being bad. I've also wondered...you must have to have one hell of a day planned for acid
yerh once youve lost it its gone...ive found it difficult dealing with and am still trying to find some sense in my life....i dont know man its up to you if you do it or not, i know many people who eat every weekend and have never even thought of loosing their mind.
if you're on the brink of losing control, then you just need to eat more acid. you should take enough that you simply no longer have 'control' as an option.
I don't you think you can 'loose it' on acid unless you're already dispreponed to psychosis or you jump out of a window or something. There is a lot of insanity involved in acid, but I think that at the end of the day you'll be alright if you don't over do it.
all you really gotta do is "lay down all thoughts surrender to the void" just listen to what the beatles say. just go along with it and you should be alright
hahahaha man you guys make me trip out lol... chipmunk voices then slow motion blabbla ...oooh and its groovy.
