you'd probably be unhappy to know that women of somewhat above average size (myself for example) are frequently healthier both inside and outside. my doctor loves when i come in for a physical. dave hates it. he's effortlessly skinny but his physicals are awful for him. blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar problems....i'd say "nya nya" if he was perfectly aware that he didn't do fuck all to be skinny. it was just luck.

 

I'm healthier when I'm chunky. I lost 40lbs. a few years back and was at the hospital constantly.

 

Been saying that since yesterday. If I could find a hippie mama in my age range with twice your BMI and your ascerbic wit I'd be a happy man.

Stop looking at waifish models and tearing yourselves down. You're all gorgeous. You're built like goddesses. The way women should be, not the result of starvation diets and cosmetic surgery.

 

its true... im a size 0 and have had nothing but health problems. ive had 3 surguries in 2 years.. and its waaay hard for me to put on weight but i think if i did i would be healthier in a lot of ways

but as long as i cant change myself i have grown to be comfortable with the way i look.

 

i'm plump, i wouldn't call it obese or anything.

the whole "hoarding food" thing really pisses me the fuck off, though. i don't hoard food and i don't sneak food. i don't eat at all usually. and when people are nice enough to spoon me up a serving at a family or friendly dinner i get half the pot of potatoes or what the fuck ever. if i don't finish this disgusting mountain of food, people wonder if i'm "being self conscious" or "not feeling well."

thankfully dave understands how i actually am and i have someone to commiserate with me. if i didn't have at least ONE PERSON who understood and knew i wasn't sneaking junk food all the time or hiding how much i eat, i'd probably start killing some deliberately obtuse supercilious motherfuckers.

 

its called metabolism and that is a concept a lot of people dont understand.

it goes both ways.. people that arent fuckin stick thin are expected to eat all the time.. and when it comes to people that ARE stick thin, it is always assumed that we dont eat at all. when in reality its the opposite.

 

exactly! i am who i am. you are who you are. sonsabitches who mock either of us for being as healthy as we know how need to shut the fuck up. now, people who are killing themselves with food and bad habits, well, that's as different from me as anorexics and coke users who "just can't gain weight." what bullshit. i can stay a size six if all i'm ingesting goes up my nose or comes with a proof rating. i know, i've done it.

so when you're doing really well at living as healthy as you can, and people don't get an automatic outward showing of that...doesn't it bother you when they lump you in with the suicidal weight loss people? i know being lumped in with the hoarders and junk food junkies pisses me the fuck off.

 

Ok, this is all well and good BUT just start posting pictures of yourself in a common forum and just sit back and wait for the insults to fly regardless of your health or state of happiness. That's what I'm talking about.

yeah, no shit. it's not like i'm fucking grotesque, pasty or weak. i'm muscular, strong, glowing and full of endurance. grrrrr. alright, though, if i've been busting my fucking ass all day moving heavy furniture and appliances, i can easily eat a 16 oz porterhouse in 10 minutes.

Oh that reminds me of when I downed a hamburger faster than the guys I was working with. I was laying tile and wanted to get back to work....a new guy that didn't know me said something about the way i eat and how fat i am.....my friend brian decked him.

 

no shit, man. i'd have fucked him up. usually verbally, but anymore i'm becoming more physical. the rest of the time i don't eat at all. the legacy of being a busty teenager not allowed out of the house, two pregnancies spent on bedrest...well shit. once those fat cells are there (sometimes from cannibalizing your own muscle from not eating) those bitches don't go away. i'm probably the only person who can gain 50 from laying on my side and eating nothing for 8 months. oh well. i'm good.

But I met this fat girl last night... she was the most disproportionate person I've ever seen who didn't have some kind of disease. She looked like an art-fag emo chick in a fat man's body. She had a huge pot belly and broad ass shoulders. She had that shitty art-fag girl haircut, and big black rimmed glasses which always kept on sliding off her crooked nose. She'd walk kinda sideways and would stumble over her own fat.

Funniest thing... she's a vegan. Never did meet any fat-ass vegans before.

She was bitchy too, you'd expect fat people to be nice to you because they're insecure and fat... but no, oh no... this one was a smartass.

There was a really fat woman at the post office working at one of the islands singing a folk/country song to herself. Her voice was really good, sent shivers up my spine.
