stop the oil dumping in fleming park

in bethesda, in fleming park, there is a woods that you can reach after you pass the baseball fields and go down off of the bike path right before the railing starts, we went down there with a drum to rock out for a bit and dig the scenery, communing with the fae and realized that people have been dumping oil (which we knew about before, but now there is more), it must stop, someone has to come to clean it up, theres also graffiti throughout the woods, written in paint and carved into trees by a strange organization, we suppose there is no way to remove it, theres a bike bridge leading to fleming street has a spiral painted on it, presumably from the spiral tribe, directly below that bridge after the portion which is highway also there used to be oil. we should organize to stop this madness, and also stop the insane amounts of pesticide being used on [COLOR=#ffffcc !important][FONT=inherit !important][COLOR=#ffffcc !important][FONT=inherit !important]lawns[/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR] in rockville especially along tuckerman lane by groups like a & w tree service, its not necessary.

in fleming park in the woods theres a rock that looks like a huge nose, near the oil, theres also a big log that kind of looks like its picking the nose,

i am a Fleming, and i would not like to be metaphorically poisoned by people going to dump oil in a park that coincidentally shares my name, it reminds me of the story of Mira Bai, because my sister is named Mira, and we have a joke about her being like Mira Bai, who is known for [COLOR=#ffffcc !important][FONT=inherit !important][COLOR=#ffffcc !important][FONT=inherit !important]eating[/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR] the poison her family gives her because they object to her devotional love of Krishna which she [COLOR=#ffffcc !important][FONT=inherit !important][COLOR=#ffffcc !important][FONT=inherit !important]eats[/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR] and it is nectar to her.

Perhaps that is subconsciously why I chose the username Smelllbuddhagirl, all those months ago, because I don't see any way that toxic oil is going to become nectar for the woods, thats a bit too intense, but as a Priestess of Wanti, I'm trying to plant some sacramental cannabis plants out there, thinking perhaps this will draw the good energy that the park needs to get it healed, because its a great park, would be a cool place to drum and dance around in, sadly some bad intentioned person is using it for evil purposes, this must stop. We have already attempted to use oyster [COLOR=#ffffcc !important][FONT=inherit !important][COLOR=#ffffcc !important][FONT=inherit !important]mushrooms[/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR] to absorb the toxins a la Paul Stamets buut that doesn't seem to be working as the mycelium is not fruiting (i just dumped the innoculate sawdust into one of the oil puddles) but it looks like it may have absorbed some, and perhaps later they will fruit, still there is much left, and any time it rains, more oil is being washed down the stream throughout the entire forest and eventually running off into the chesapeake bay, not cool man, lets end this, and rave with nature consciousness for the good of all and the harm of none!

Who gives a fuck about graffiti? There should be wet paint on every wall. If you're talking about gang graffiti, that's different, throw a bucket of paint over it if it bothers you. And of course carving into trees isn't great, but it's just what stupid kids do, it's not a "mysterious organization"

If assholes are dumping oil.... Get some spray paint, and make a LARGE neat sign that warns them not to.

But with the paranoid way you write makes me doubt that there is even oil.

I mean, there's assholes who will dump, but WHY, I'm pretty sure auto-zone and a bunch of other stores will recycle your oil for free. Just paint a sign advising of this. If you can do it without sounding like a nutjob, threaten surveilence and legal action in your sign.

planting pot might not be a bad idea, though consuming it would be a VERY bad idea if there's spilled oil or other waste, and some kids probly would if they found them while carving their "so&so<3so&so" crap.

Remediating oil is more than just planting pot, and is likely not possible. Where I used to live, the old neighbor had been a car dealer, and had used junkers to build up a wall so he could make his yard flat, so his yard was built on old asphault, cars, and other fill. That had been 30+ years before, and when I lived there my back yard would puddle with water with heavy amounts of motor oil in it every summer.
