why aren't kids sraight edge anymore? like last year everyone loved the aquabats and ska punk music, and was straight edge. now it's all about sparks and indie rock. i dont get it. how do you guys feel about straight edge? you probably all hate it, because you want to be like what you think a hippie is, so that means smoking and drinking. i liked it, straight edge kids were fun. of course i didnt like the whole carving "X" in your skin and beating up kids thing, but in a way it was kind of awesome. anyway that was a very select few anyway...

and i dont think you have to be "straight edge" to not smoke or drink, it was just a way for sheltered kids to have something to be snobby about, but as trends go, i thought it was a pretty cool one.. cuz i hate beer and drugs...

You know in mid-90s Homda Accords, there's a little plastic thimg in the cemter comsole where the parkimg break is, om the floor by feet of the back seats. You cam hide your roaches im there and it's like a little ash tray... you cam make a bomg (im different combimatioms) out of a small socket, bic pem, bubble gum, alumimum foil, amd a couple bottles...

 

There are plenty of straight edge kids out there. I don't mind it; who am I to pass judgement upon them? They can be whatever the fuck they wanna be, as long as they respect those who different views on life.

With so many labels out there, I'm hardly keeping up.

There are about a billion of those fuckers now..claiming to be straight edge because 'omg..last friday at THE SHOW, the lead singer of Kicking Autumn on Sunday with November's Gun totally talked to me. I asked him why he had Xes on his hands, and he said he was STRAIGHT EDGE. How totally cool is that. I'm gunna be straight edge too, so from now on, Billy, I can't fuck your brains out anymore..KAY?!"


I think it's fine if you do it because that's you, but it's become such a friggen trend in the Hardcore scene, nowadays..
