First time poster here. Great forum you have here, very glad to be a new member. Okay, here goes the question:

Does Libertarianism apply to aliens (extraterrestrial beings)?

Say some aliens landed in the USA and liked earth so much they wanted to become citizens. Should you let them?

there nothing wrong with immigration with either kind of alien(ET or illegal).

what we dont agree with is the government subsidies.
-illegal aliens in america get free healthcare paid in full by tax payers. it is morally
wrong to force money from someone and give it to another.

in a true free market we would need immigration, there skills would contribute to the community rather than what we see happening today.

Illegal aliens do not get free health care in America. Anyone from any nation including European tourists on vacation, workers with green cards from China, people from Turkey visiting family, uninsured American citizens, ect are guaranteed ER room treatment. Mainly so we don't literally have people dying in the streets.

if an uninsured tax payer in america got to the emergeny room for anyreason they give them base treatment yes, but if they find something seriously wrong with him they dont do anything about it. they just tell them and send them on there way.

the hospital doesnt have to do anything more than give them a bandaid and an asprin

if the government was out of healthcare completely and followed the constitution people would have more money to save for healthcare, healthcare would be cheaper and there for hospitals would be more charitable to those who couldnt afford it.

Remember the government created the broken healthcare system we have today.

Trust me hospitals do more then give you a band aid, more then a few people in my family have had to go to the hospital without insurance.

i am uninsured and was recently hit by a car. i was taken to a hospital by ambulance because i was unconscious. when i came to, i had a large cut on the side of my head that would require staples. the hospital would not do it unless i had insurance or could pay out of pocket. all they were required to do was bandage it and they gave me some painkillers.

this was 4 months ago, i dont think thinks have changed since then

Then either you didn't need staples or what they did was illegal, a hospital can't send you away if you need staples or stitches

hey, madcapsyd! i see you in psychedelics sometimes!

yea im pretty sure they can't do that, at least not legally. I mean do you think if someone was gonna die but didn't have insurance they could just let that person die! Of course there may be a descrimination between life-threatening and non life-threatening injuries i'm no expert, but I definitely support libertarianism...and fuck the right wing conservatives, they are the reason this country sucks so much balls.

Yes, so long as the aliens don't pose a health risk with novel bugs, or a military risk, or risk destroying the Libertarian 'small state' - if they abide by a laissez faire regime of good contracture and wish to offer their goods and services, or labour, for fair exchange, they have every right to citizenship.
