a co worker collects diet coke bottles from around the world, and he mentioned he'd like one from Germany. Empties are fine. Can somone help me get an empty DC container (bottle or the odd rectangles) from Germany before say, Xmas?
my father in law is going in a week or so to Germany, my husband is going to ask him to bring a can back... If he does we will mail it to you!! I will let you know once we get it!!
and empty is just fine: any kind of Coke, diet or regular, I found out. Any European country: he has mexico, US, Israel and one in Arabic, country unknown. Non english label would be great! pm me for address

Each country has it's own bottles. Have you gone into a tienda on the northside and gotten a glass bottle Coke from Mexico? I think some of teh tourista places in Cow Town have them, too. better than US bottling anyday. I guess it is because sugar is used in a high concentration rather than corn syrup.
I once collected coke cans. I had two differente arabic ones, italian ones, of course german ones, even a tiny one from lufthansa. unfortunately, I threw them away once. :-( Maybe I can get him one from Yemen though, (am germany of course if still needed) since my dad is working there. Just might take some time, since he just flew back there.
not a time crunch at all...although he is 67 and yells at people on the phone (another reporter) could kill himself with that! really, any empties would be wonderful: coke or diet coke. you all rock!

Mexican bottles are 12 oz. US glass bottles are 8 and the curve is different. ( I only get Coke in glass) Synaptic, he's 67, it all he collects. And he missed out on a layover in Germany. I thought it'd be a nice giftie for him. He brought everyone pens from Jordan.
