A video stream of the oil geyser is now available thanks in part to a number of politicians (which didn't include Palin ). http://globalwarming.house.gov/spillcam/ .
There are a lot of things that people don't see or don't want to see. The videos are available to independent analysts who have expertise in that area. They can make a better assessment of the spill than the ones that public relations people at BP are giving the public. The spill was downplayed by BP. .
Because we want to see an oil spill, we want to see a multi-billion dollar company humbled to its knees; prostrated before the world until the fascination wears off and the realization kicks in that we too might be inconvenienced by this disaster http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/05/21/deepwater-rig-explosion-n_n_584090.html h
A CBS news crew was on a boat trying to view a beach where oil supposedly washed up. They were blocked by BP and Coast Guard officials. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/05/19/bp-coast-guard-officers-b_n_581779.html .
no, thank goodness for the sierra club man that video isn't working either, must be too many people trying to view it again
do you mean this one?...I just checked again and it works for me...maybe try getting to it right from the www.bp.com page
I dont see the point in this... A video stream of the surface where the damage is actually being done, yeah, but this?
Because when people don't see things and when they close their eyes to images like the oil spill, it is much easier to not give a fuck.
This whole thing just makes me sick to my stomach and it really hurts me a lot to even think about it. And guilt that I am doing nothing to help...
It could be worse. A friend of mine has cut her hair for material for oil absorbent booms. I'm hearing now the booms aren't worth a shit. You could be bald.
I wonder why they dont just shove a tube down the hole with one of those expanding bubble head things like they stick up your pee hole to flush out kidney stones from your bladder
