I came up with a plan to stretch my earlobes and I was wondering if you guys think it'll work. So here goes: My current size is about 20-18G so first I'm planning on wearing some 14G earrings for a couple of weeks. Then I'll probably be able to get a small 12G plug in. Now I'm in no hurry so I don't care if I take a super long time to stretch, as long as it's healthy and not very painful. Okay, so then I'll try to tape the 12G plug so my earlobes will slowly stretch and when I've reach the size of the 8G plug with the taping I'll get an actual 8G plug and start taping that one. Untill I reach 4G and so on... The plugs I'll probably use are these: So, what do you think?
I like those plugs. ^_^ The shortest i waited for mine to heal was about 2 1/2 weeks and they are perfectly healthy. I"m now at a 2g.
idk, i went right from peircing to 14g, then waited a few weeks, then hopped to 10g. needless to say, they got rather infected, and i aborted mission shortly after the white ooze poored from my lobe..
taping works very well and is probably the best way to go about not damaging your ears. a few of my friends have done it * but they were at 1 1/2 inches* so they had to be careful + tapes dont usually come in that size. I thought most ears were pierced at a 14g ? hmm anyways yeah go for it, it will a lot cheaper than buying a bunch of tapers
you can get your ears peirced directly with larger needles, but the standard for regular earings is usually a 20 or 18g
don't use plastic (like in the photo)... only stainless steel at first. other materials can collect bacteria more easily. let them heal a month between stretches if you care about infection. push through the front AND the back to make an even stretch Good luck
depends on the piercer. a tattoo place may use a larger needle or if u get em done in a place in the mall or something its diffrent
