Oh did anyone hit up the Taste of Chicago this past Saturday? Yonder played for free and WAS SUCH A GOOD SHOW FOR THE FREENESS

Ill be there for the Keller Williams Incident show...if my boss lets me off work.

 

I was there for new monsoon and moe. last night but sadly, I have to work tonight and tomorrow. I might try to drive up to catch some of the SCI, Ratdog, and Keller show from outside the amphitheater though.

I saw Yonder on Saturday and it definitely was a pretty good show. We were rippin bowls on the sidewalk in the middle of the loop on the way there haha.

 

i was there the 4th, 5th, and 6th

-The 4th
New Monsoon put on a fun show as always, but moe. fucking threw down that night. That was my 8th moe. show and by far the best one i've ever seen. Al was on fire all damn night.

-The 5th
YONDER YONDER YONDER! yonder killed it!! I was at the taste for the free show as well but this show was much better and longer! Such a damn good time, i love yonder. I saw like 30 min of particle before yonder and it was alright. Particle also announced that they would be playing with Mickey Hart later that night for a Hydra set. Hydra killed the place, i think everyone inside the potawatomi was diggin it.

-The 6th
Keller was Keller, not much else to say. Nershi came out and played with him and then later Bobby came out and play monkey and the engineer and cassidy with him. Ratdog.... I dont really like ratdog. They bore me with slow jams and don't bring the magic that PLF does. They opened with Terrapin and closed with sugar magnolia. encore was ripple. cool. Cheese killed it. I was like 5 rows back, Kang's side and they played great. SUPER TIGHT Rollover. The only complaint was that the sound in the lawn was horrible. i was only there for a little however.
