Stupid Question....

OK...here it goes...how do you dry the bud out like the buds that are fresh off the flower and get them to look like the buds that you smoke like the dried out buds cuz i dont get how they can turn out like that cuz if seen how the dry it and shit but i still dont get how they turn out like that....stupid question...but any body wanna explain it...and ive been smoking for like 5 months now...like every day...but i never got it....oh well thanks for readin it at least!

let them sit out, or hang the big ones in a box or something for a few weeks til they're dry.

There are a few ways..The quickest way is to just throw the nugs in a brown paper bag and close it up and leave a little air pocket in the bag for the buds to dry out.. Depending on the dampness of the bud, it should dry out within a few hours, but it can take longer..

Or, the real way(after a harvest) is to simply hang them in a closet or somewhere with a decent amount of air, but not too much.. If it dries too fast it will be kind of flakey and crumbly, but dried right it shouldn't do that and stay sticky but still be dry..

There are other ways to dry, but I'm assuming you don't have big Cola's to hang like after a harvest, so I would just recommend the brown paper bag for quick, easy results for smaller amounts of bud.. Also, if you bought wet buds, you probably got ripped off on the deal(maybe not purposely,alot of buds are sold fresh and damp because commercial growers/dealers don't like waiting to dry/cure the buds and basically just need $$).. Wet weed is no good to buy, you're paying for a bunch of water and not enough bud.. Once dried out, weight can vary ALOT.. So try to look at the bud thoroughly before you buy it, and do the universal wet weed test.. All you gotta do is break a stem off, and if it doesn't make a cracking sound and break off easily, the bud still has moisture in it, and moisture can yield molds/bacteria, so be careful..

my first buy was some fresh weed and i was ripped off. caus it was my first stuff i didnt really notice that it was shit too. but ive learnt now and i can pick the good bud from the bad
