im not against killing animals to keep me alive. im against treating them like that. no need for torchering them to death though. a simple bullet in the head would be just as effective, and save time. unless they enjoy torchering animals to death, which wouldn't be a surprise.

 

This is off topic, but it's my opinion that if you aren't willing to kill the animal yourself, then you shouldn't be eating meat. People these days are spoiled. They love their drivethrough, but a video of an animal dying makes them sick to their stomach. In today's society eating meat isn't really necessary, and DJ's right. American slaughter houses are just as bad, if not worse than those foreign ones.

If some farmer wants to raise his own animals and slaughter them or if a hunter wants to go off and shoot a deer that that's totally cool, but it's hard to make mass slaughter humane. I didn't eat meat for a couple years, nowadays I limit it. I mean steak is pretty fucking good, c'mon.

 

dude i would kill an animal for my survival, id just make it quick and as painless if possible, shoot it in the head to kill it, not stab its eyes in, cut its legs open and only in the end slit its throat.
