so i was taking the subway for the first time acouple days ago. and right before i go downstairs, this guy calls me and asks me to come towards him. he looked like a shady fellow, but i go up to him anyways he then says to me something like "i dont wanna come over this hear line and stab you, but i am in need. as you just see i was just stabbed myself and i need some help getting my kid some help". i said, "im sorry, but i dont wanna get involved" he raises his voice and says "you dont wanna get involved? motherfucker your already involved" so i said back "so what do you want, money?" and he says "yes, of course!" so i hand him a few dollars just to get him off my back. he then askes me if i need a ride somewhere, and i said no and im thinking...why would i need a ride? i just payed to get on the subway. what kind of wacko is this? i didnt think anything of it at the time, but that could of turned out real nasty. next time im just gonna leave my headphones on and ignore crazy people with blood stained shirts that come up to you and ask for money
oh man that's insane i've never had any encounter on the subway like that..i'm glad you're ok though..shit...
That's amazing. Was the subway crowded? I almost got mugged on the train station in France... thank sweeeeet Jesus my brother, who's a rather muscular guy, was with me.
naw, it wasnt very crowded at all. the odd thing is that i didnt think much about it at all when it happened, or even an hour so after. it was when i was comin home that evening, i was just thinking "damn.."
Yes...that's a "damn" indeed. I probably would have given him some money too in your situation. I'm not much for confrontation, stabbed people, or people with knives. At least it's an interesting story.
i'd either be freaked and not even know what to do..or i'd be stupid and end up getting stabbed... for the most part i just get creepy people staring at me, or one guy took my picture on the subway...
well i did make a face..a 'what the fuck are you doing' face...it was a sneaky kind of picture taken by a camera phone... paul, if you're gonna be in the next die hard movie, can i have your autograph?
I'm totally bemused at the idea of never having been on a subway I use the tube (subway) in London all the time, never have any problems. I have many encounters with crazy homeless people though, but not problems per se
I used the london tube yesterday... its a hell of a lot better than the glasgow underground and when people have weapons, i normally do as they ask
i know a twat thats going. but LSE is pretty fuckin prestigeous... i'll need to work me arse off to get in there
fucking crazy crackheads in the subway I think keeping ur headphones on would probably be the best idea, paul
