I've never had either. I always get my subs from the local sub shops and delis.

subway or quiznoes, i'd have to say togo's. i don't know if they have those where you are, but usually i'm not all that much of a one for all that bread. i prefer just as cheap, but in more interesting forms then a sammich.

so its usually not the franchise joints, any of them. there's a place called wonderful three, (it had been wonderful too, but they moved so now they call it wonderful three) that serves 'chinese' i.e. generic asian, but interesting. i really like hole in the wall one of kinds of places, and trying different ones. there's a place called eva's, wifie and i frequent, her more often then i, that's within walking distance of where we live, and right accross the street from the nearest transfer point for the local bus service.

oh all of those places mentioned, subway, quize noses, and togo's are waaaay better then the usual greaseburger kind of joints for sure.

i actually LIKE my own cooking though. there is a fanchise joint at the local mall that's not half bad, another not a sammich kinda joint, called panda express. sessame chicken on udon with a bit of stir fry veggies on the side we usually get there.

those mongolian bar-b-q kind of places are great too, where you go through and pick out what you want from the cold tables and they stir fry it on this giant round flat cooking surface, stirring it with these two foot long giant chopstic looking things.

i haven't been to that one in a long time. then there's the flour garden bakery, with fair traide organic everything. we go there at least once every year on feb 14th, plus other times when we're up that way.

there one of the bussiness underwriters for our favorite little radio station.

    =^^=

I miss the little "Mom n Pop" sub place I used to go to in Denver. I can't remember what it was called but it was the SHIZNIT for shizzle bizzle dizzle

Ahaha, this thread is awsome. I acctually work at subway. It was my first job when I was 17. And I'm almost 19 working at a different subway. The food may taste good to people that don't live off of it cause all your paychecks have to go somewhere else.

But I personally prefer Quiznos, but then again I'm so sick of Subway that I'v made my own sandwichs.

LOL I could picture this line or people waiting to place an order and out you come from the back with your sack lunch, sit down out the table and pull out a sandwich. Could you imagine what they would be thinking, lol

edit: pull out a bag (or sack lunch as mentioned) in front of your customers and make a sandwich out of your own ingredients............................................ and put it on youtube.

Quizno's is good. Although it's pretty pricey for just a toasted sandwhich.

I've never had Quiznos, and have only had Subway a handful of times. I usually make our own subs here at home (yes, even toasted, or even better than that, homemade panninis!), or if we want to buy them already made for something super quick, we get them at a local deli shop not far from us.

I like Subway, but I think that their subs tend to be a little on the meager side considering the price when I can make my own or go to the deli for cheaper than that. I don't know about Quizno's prices however!
