So I was just reading tips on "how to make your boss notice you". It was all tips from CEO's of big companis. Most of them sounded conceited, and very to the point about making sure the employee knows to call the head CEO "king shit" as he walks in the door and the trumpets sound. Even if the boss was talking about helping co-workers, it came around to helping HIS company and his problems. It was basically like they were saying, "just suck your bosses dick, and hopefully you did it good enough for him to remember."

I don't think people realize that we are empowering these assholes with the labor, actual mind power, and our well-being just so they can be happier for themselves, and the projected overages in a month.

My boss is a chick. And she notices me because I do my fucking job. I don't get what's so difficult about that. I've observed damn near everywhere I go, there are a bunch of lazy fatasses hanging around in uniform everywhere, cluttering up the place, and a handful of people who are actually working. How do those fuck-offs get away with that? Shit, if I stood around with a blank stare on my face, I'd probably get my ass fired.

Its not really a good sign of a strong leader if it is all about ego.

If they end up picking people for certain functions based on ass kissing over talent, always end up coming back to bite them on the ass. Trumped by another company for a contract that did put their best people on the job

Plus the guy at the top usually ends up getting the blame for everything, and you cant trust the ass kissers so....
