remember the thread? just got some seeds from this bc company and want to grow them inside a shed. Have a 250w sodium & a 250w mh Temp control from 60deg>85deg Started seeds by soaking, dunking and, when sunk, planting them in 1/3 ea of vermiculite/perlite/spagnum moss. Will want to grow them in 4Gpots.
Question>can someone guide me step by step when I post the next stage?
That is: I have not grown much indoors and would want to know what to do next when seeds emerge to first set of leaves???when to transplant and into what medium, like directly into the 4G and into what soil? or do you transplant in stages. Had real succesful outdoor crop past season, usually just stick em in the ground (well prepared garden beds, mostly organic and all that) but this indoor growing, how much light, how many hours and all that, that's different....
Wasn't it pist who was growing this variety or was it tiedye

Hey! -I took some pics and they look pretty good but I gotta get someone to resize'em becxause I dont know how but as soon as I can I'l post new pics! -Theres some old ones in the "Test" thread, its under here a bit. -All the old pics are of plants(Sugar Shak)with slight issues but any fresh ones I post will be sweet! -They were good all along but now I even got the issues worked out! -Your gonna be REAL happy with potency AND flavor! -I got a couple of friends who trade with me and as I said, -I told them that if they find a weed that they like better to bring it to me and we'l find out what it is and grow it but no one brings me anything better. --Theres nothing around me that comes close to Sugar Shack as far as flavor AND potency. -Sometimes someone will bring me a weed as a mater of quriosity because of one reason or another,flavor,potency or whatever -but so far no ones smoked anything with me that I like better or that I would switch strains for. -So far, out of all my kids who aint in prison, no ones brought me home a better weed! -Hey B1!! -Your gonna love it!!

Hey LuMp, been seeing your posts but not had time for nothing. Just now took some pics of the SS/PP (sugarshack/prairy pride) and uploaded them into the gallery and will try to get them into this post. 3 wks since germination. Growing in 4G pots with just good potting soil/composted cow manure. No chem ferts. Watering done by wicking up from bottom only>>note the grating they stand on. 250W MH 18/6. Just added a 250 HPS (those suckers put out some 29000 to 26000 lumens). Got to go. Let me hear what you think.

Happy Holidays to you too. Made some hash myself yesterday, just got my first set of bubble bags. What method do you use?
Dirt farming is my bag indeed. After having tried germinating/rooting/repotting sequences I have settled on germinating seeds in wet washcloth (3 days on average) and planting them in a good spagnum moss/perlite/vermiculite mixture which has been placed as a "well", if you will (ha ha) in the middle of the 4G pot filled with the final grow medium, which is some composted cow manure added to quality potting soil WITHOUT CHEM FERTS ADDED (right now using 'Expert Gardener' brand "Perfect Mix". They have a website: www.expertgardener.org and it sells at Walmart, real good price too, believe it or not.

 

Happy Holidays!! -I shake up frosty trim in a icy gallon jug to get the trich's to snap off. -I squishem together in between celapane on the floor under a 1" x 3" with my foot, it takes a bit of "foot squishin" but it comes out hash! -I gotta get me somma them bags tho!

GuySmiley is saying in an earlier post about the ezyhydrolight that this one light set-up will take his newly sprouted seedlings all the way thru the vegetative growth stage. Do you use a similar amount /type of light (like fluorescent)and can I thereafter move them into my other room and let the flowering take place under the MH&HPS set-up? Still being new to indoor stuff, want to be sure I get it right. b1

Hey B1! -I use 4 double tube 4' flouros in the corners of a 3' x 5' aria with one on top with a 175 watt mh hangin up in there somewhere. I use this aria to sustain moms and root clones so I guess It would work for full veg growth. -Anyhow.. -Once I rootem out here I movem into the flower room. -Yea... -Just switch rooms onem!

 

Happy Holidays indeed. Sugar Shacks are growing up nicely as you can see, been seeing your posts and thankx for sharing your lights set-up. Still trying to figure out the lumens, though. How many per 4' fluoro? Specific type, like color balanced or toward the blue? Have been doing much looking around other websites and found some really comprehensive and well thought-out comments on the plant growing we all try to do by this guy Jason King who has published "the cannanabible" and his thoughts on various practices we engage in (or not) such as flushing before harvesting etc. are really well worth considering. Hey LuMpY: been a few days...busy as hell. Converting my outdoor crop of last season into usable form so the room is empty and will accept the two 250W HPS sets I plan to use for flowering of the Sugar Shacks. Have been bending & tying as recommended and feel I have developed a number of good bud sites. They are now 20" tall and I plan to leave them as they are until a week from now and move them into 12/12. What's your take on how they look at this point? Thanx brudda. b1

Also, everybody splashes the word "lol" throughout their messages and it does not seem to mean "lots of luck" in most of the contexts where I see it. Hey LuMpY: progress note on the SugarShacks: switched them last nite to the 2 HPS @ 250W each. Using same set-up, continue to let them suck water from the bottom but plan to fert them by adding soluable fertilizer added to the water.
Now 5 days later, just finished tying all those tall growing shoots down to keep an even canopy @ +/- 20" thats' 51cm.

Last night I couldn't improve on the impression I had earlier that morning. So I took the one boy out of the flower room and stuck him outside with the tomatoes. And took pictures of them. See the difference? b1
