suggest a first beer.

    I've never drunk before, and I have it on good authority I need to start with beer

    what is a good first beer (as well as beer that is a first alcoholic beverage)

    I am looking for something that won't make me hate beer forever also, should that be arrangeable

    I find beer to be a difficult subject...there's only so much I'm willing to spend, and a lot of tastes the same, but I don't want the shit...And I've never really drinken alot either...

    Imo, start with something cheaper but with a decent reputation, that way you're not blowing your money, or just starting out getting used to the best ones and you're not buying absolute shit either.

    Maybe start with a decent lager or standard ale. Sam Adams lager is good for starters. Magic Hat #9 and Blue Moon are also well liked by people who aren't huge beer connaisseurs.

    I would have to agree it's one of the best. It's nothing I would recommend to starters, though.

    if you wuss out and get beer, Guinness...then you will probably hate beer and drink scotch...i, however, enjoy both...because I'm not a faggot...

    easily my favorite, but I think one best appreciates high end stuff after going through a lengthy phase of drinking malt liquor.
