Suggest some of your favorite boardgames. I think I need to expand my collection. I really like Scrabble and Risk.
Settlers of Catan is pretty great. I've got a great one called "Arkham Horror" which is in Lovecraft's Cthulu setting. It's really complicated and takes like 6 hours to play, but it's awesome.
Me and some friends play Machiavelli again lately, I see it's called Citadels in the english version: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citadels_%28game%29, heavily recommended if you like strategy games like Risk, although this is technically not a boardgame :tongue: Check it out! And be sure to get it with the expansion pack, you have much cooler building cards that way. Kind of lousy, I really dislike games where you have to buy more stuff for later to fully enjoy it, but this is only one upgrade. I also still enjoy a game of chess.
Cranium and the other variations made by that company. those games are wicked fun, every time its played we spend most of the time laughing. They're different things you have to do like answer questions, do word problems, do things like pictionary and molding clay, and performing things like charades or humming songs.
I love scrabble! I also dig Monopoly, Solar Quest (monopoly spinoff using the solar system) and my Scooby Doo version of Clue!
