It's nearly summer solstice! So, who's excited? And what have you got planned? I'm going to wait till it gets really, really dark then light a load of candles outside in the garden. When it gets too cold I'm going to come inside and light some in my room and burn inscense.

If it rains I'll just have to wait untill sunrise in my room.
    Peace and love guys.

Summer Solstice is a very special time for us. Up here we have 24 hours of daylight this time of year. The sun does set for a couple of hours, but it is only just below the horizon. We usually have a bon fire and watch the sunset sometime after midnight. There is usually beer and weed involved.

Hah, standing room only at Stonehenge over here; the damn Druids always get there first. Still, I'll more than likely have a midnight walk around the countryside, go to some woods near my house and play my Native American Flute for a while. Bliss.

Going camping. Rit by the lake. Gonna spin a bunch of fire and it'll be my friend's first burn with her fire staff (I did my first burn last yule).

    ...and much wine.

I haven't even thought about it yet. I probably won't do too much... I don't like summer.

It's coming up to Winter Solstice here, which i would logically assume is your Summer Solstice!
    We're having a little celebration/party in the bush on the 23rd ;)

    Can't wait!
