This summer was amazing. It was amazing for me, but the thing is, do you think the weather does have a major affect on people's moods?

Now that summer has passed, and the rain and cold is coming, the mood is down.... anyone else like me long for the summer and spring to come along again?

this summer was pretty amazing for me
i had a lvoely time, discovered new things and met new people..
it was better then winter for me I think but I was in a different place doing a different job which probably made the difference..
Summer does affect mood though.. its nicer to be able to sit outside and get more fresh air.. enjoy nature...
In winter people get colds.. go home early because it gets dark.. dont go outside as much...generally are grumpier..
Despite how beautiful winter can be... i prefer summer :)

Natural sunlight increases the production of seretonin, the body's happiness chemical, so, yes. I find a different kind of happiness in winter, when you can feel cozy indoors with somebody you love....haha...yeah. Damn. Maybe next year.

Winter's lovely in Cornwall, all the emmets have gone home. The beach is mine again and the roads are clear, can drive to town, half an hour, and not see another car.

Can't agree more... love Winter down here... love walking on a deserted beach... it is the most chilled place (even when the tinsel and turkey weekends start up coz they are mostly old dears having a good old fashioned knees up)...

Will attempt to get outside more this winter... gardeniing is the new fucking rock 'n' roll...

    Fly...

totally. My friend really suffers with SAD, he's extremely miserable in the winter months and appears a completely different person during the summer.

oh man i was thinking about this today....this summer was really good, but for some reason i want winter to come soon.... i dont mind the cold weather i just dont like it when the days are so short and it feels like you want to be in bed all day long hehehe, well, i feel like that in summer too but the sunshine is the perfect excuse to get out and enjoy life out there!
i cant wait for next summer though, there's some travelling that i want to do and people i want to see, so its going to be good..

    oh life is so sweet.

Actually Autumn is my favourite time! The Summer is okay unless you're working in it! Likewise Winter but to a lesser extent. Spring seems to render many peeps with hayfever blues.

The seasons have changed a fair bit since my childhood - I wonder what they will be like in another 20 years time.
