there is an all natural sunblock called UV naturals. They have baby, adult and sport. They are paba and fragrance free and are based on natural oils for thos out there who have chem. sensitivities.

I have used sunscreen with an spf of 45 and gotten burned like crazy. I have done the vinegar thing and it works pretty good. Aloe is good too.

Wow. I thought I was alone. My family doesn't believe me when I tell them I can put on spf 50 and still get fried after 10 minutes in the sun!!

One thing that I have found DOES help, is not those regular sunblocks, but those that contain titanium dioxide. It's a natural sunblock and works the best for me. It's hard to find in regular stores, but usually you can find it in the Baby sunblock section, just look for "titanium dioxide" in the ingredients.

burning and then turning out still as pale as before...I used to think that happened to me, too. until one summer I LIVED outside. I got a bad burn and then when it was over, I STILL was outside constantly and I got a lovely tan. the best one I ever got (maybe the only one?) I think the burning helped to "toughen" up my skin or something. so...I dunno. just my thoughts. I don't really ever wear sunscreen, just try to get some shade if I'm feelin roasty
