Wow. That's a lot. I get this image in my mind of Mama Nature in a kitchen mixing all these jars of ingredients into a big mixing bowl and this beautiful thing coming out. .
lovely read red hair and you look so mod! i love the mod look (i'm a big fan of austin powers) if you ever want to trade hair, lemme know... i have straight flaxen hair
Here I go blushing again. About the music flowersinyourhair, our manager told us yesterday that he sent our press kit to about 5 different labels/managers and they all wrote back interested, which is increduble news! We're meeting with a few people over the course of the next month, including Jack Ross who works for The Agency Group, who handle The White Stripes. So, all is going extremely well! Hey Shaba, big Donovan fan too? I absolutely adore the man! I wrote him a letter last week and am helpelessly waiting for a reply. Ever hear the album Open Road from '70? It's been on my record player for 2 months straight now! Guys, your comments are greatly taken to heart! I love you guys!
I love Donovan, one trippy cat. Do you know if he will ever come up to Canada to tour!? And I haven't heard that album but it will be on my 'to listen' list. What's your favourite song? Mines definetly Epistle to Dippy. Peace, SB.
Three of mine are from the album I mentioned and they're called Roots Of Oak, Riki Tiki Tavi and Season Of Farewell. There are way too many great songs to choose! I asked him in my letter when he planned on doing some Canadian shows. I've yet to hear back.
I love Riki Tiki Tavi and isn't it called the Season of the Witch? That's a great song too. Let me know when you get a reply from him
I shall. And actually no... those are 2 different songs. There are 2 recorded versions of Riki Tiki Tavi... one is a demo acoustic version found on his Troubadour compilation and the other is a full band reggae version on Open Road. Great tune... great album:
Aw I just looked at Amazon.ca and they have it but it's too expensive for my wallet, I'll definetly start saving up.
