Hey all! I just wanted to take a moment to recommend SUNY New Paltz (upstate New York) to all of you. I visited yesterday, and its truly an amazing place. The school is excellent, and the town is ridiculously awesome. It reminded me a lot of the Village in NYC but much much safer. I was there in the late afternoon, and there were people sitting outside coffee houses jamming, anti-war activism on campus, and just lots and lots of chill people. Also, the school and surrounding area are really vegan friendly! I really really recommend visiting... if not for the school, for the experience.
Plus, Mcgillicuddy's is arguably the greatest bar EVER. It is a nice little area and a very good school.
