Say what, you never heard of surf rock?Think of very early Beach Boys. They are not a good example of what surf rock is all about in my opinion.

    I love it.

I'm a big fan of The Stingrays. Another one of my favorites is The Langhorns, they're from Sweden.

Both of them make awsome music.

I saw Los Straightjackets more than a year ago. They were doing a Christmas themed show. Their opening act was great too. It was a band called the Hi-Risers, they aren't surf rock, they're more Beatle-esque, in fact they had a song called "I Ain't No Beatle, But I Still Wanna Hold Your Hand!".

And Los Straightjackets had some really hot backup dancers. I think they were called the Puntani Sisters or something, but these chicks were smokin' hot!.

I like surf music, but I've always had a hell of a time finding it in any record stores. Dick Dale, the Ventures, the Challengers, the Pulp Fiction Soundtrack, the Chantays, the Surfaris, and Man or Astroman (newer)...good stuff, just wish I could find more. Maybe I'll just order a bunch off of Amazon someday.
