Swab test for Nicotine and Weed..

For my insurance, I need to take a swab test. It tests for nicotine and marijuana. My question is how far back in time will the results go? I havn't smoke weed in a week and havn't smoked cigarettes in about 3 days. Please help. Thanks!

 

Marijuana is detectable (in urine at least) for up to two weeks. I dont know if a swab test would pick it up longer or shorter than that period of time. And as for nicotine.. I have no idea. Good luck man.

 

As far as I know, the mouth swab thing is kind of a new idea for most businesses. I have no clue at all, but I'm also very curious.

 

I heard from a few people and checked on google and found that the swab test can only detect marijuana a few days back. So you should be safe, but don't quote me on that.

 

what kind of insurance is this exactly? if it's health insurance i call BS right now, who the fuck checks for that kind of thing? as soon as u clear u could start smoking and stil have your coverage

 

for ciggarettes Im pretty sure it's 3 days. and Im not sure for pot though.

 

its actually to start a life insurance plan. so i see why they are doing it, i just dont like it haha. but i dont want to pay the price of a smoker :/ thanks for all your input so far. any more info would be nice

 

ive heard of cops using something like this but it only detected weed if it was smoked a few hours ago... i dont know why anyone would use that instead of a piss test. i could be very wrong though

 

I have two friends who beat swab tests. One had smoked pot 3 days before, and one had smoked about a week before. You'll be fine, but good luck anyway!
