swearing ( is it normal)

or doe/s it piss you off?.....is it me that think kids of a young age use this language more often than when we were kids.? i mean what doe/s fuckintwatingfuckincuntinbollockobastardassholestupidfucknpieceofshitshoveitupyerbollocks.....mean

 

I hear kids say more crass things than I do..
I dont like constant swearing, its a little redundant..
But if people want to swear than thats them.. But I hate it when i see kids swear or teens...

 

i do cuss a lot.. .BUT i watch my mouth when there are kids around. Plus I know that I wont cuss hardly once I have my baby b/c i definatly don't want him to pick up things and turn around and say 'shut up bitch' or anything

 

I don't mind swearing, since I know I used to swear alot as a teen, and still do. But if you swear too much, you just sound stupid as shit.

As I've said before, profanity annoys me. It makes you sound unintelligent, like you don't have a vocabulary other than four-letter words. It does have its place though, like if something REALLY awful happens, or something really PAINFUL happens (like that time I dropped a giant garden rock on my barefoot, for example)... but if you use it all the time, it loses its shock value anyway. And then what's the point? I would rather use my education and sound like an intelligent person, than someone who can't express themselves without using those kinds of words.

Overuse of it does make you sound stupider than you actually are, like Super_Grrl mentioned. I do swear a fair amount, but not with every sentence and not even every day.

 

I sware when im pissed off and thats usually about it... I hate hearing kids and tens swaring up a storm...

 

My younger brother curses more than anyone I know.. Every word is a curse word, after a while I start feeling like ive been exposed to to much and feel traumatized

I swear, but when I talk I'm always waving my arms around and talking loud. It's a way to express myself. I'm an eccentic person. I can't help it sometimes.
when it's every other word it's annoying, but I won't be a hypocrite.

I try really hard not to swear around kids. That's disrespectful.

My sister and her hubby swear a lot. I saw him at Easter (she was working) and every other word was "fuck". I swear under pressure (anger, pain), but not in my everyday conversation.
