switching light times

    I have 3 plants three weeks into veg. and they are outdoors right now. I am going to bring them inside and put them under my light. If i switch the vegitation time to the night from about 10:00P.M. to noon the next day because i have the cords in a conspicuous place, will this throw my plants off?
