taking a glass pipe on airplane

i need to take a lil glass pipe with me back home

i bought one while in california and im flying bak home in a week and i need to take it with me but im worried that i willl get caught

if i have it in my pocket will the airport people find out when i go thru the metal detector

what about if i put it inside of my luggage bacg and wrap it up in clothes cuz it isnt that big

They do such a thorough search of all the bags now that it's hard to hide one. THe best thing to do is just mail it home to yourself.

 

Don't smoke in your glass pipe until you pass it through the airport. If they see it, it's a tobbaco pipe. Worked fine for me.

I guess that could work. Just try not to look suspicious or anything.

Don't do anything weird. When they find it taped to your leg, how are you going to explain it's a tobacco pipe? Just clean it out really good with rubbing alcohol and some warm water. When you make sure it's perfectly clean, wash it two more times, to really make sure. Then just toss it in with the rest of your luggage. They'll pull it out though. They hand search bags, wether they see anything fishy or not, so just hope your parents are'nt around.

 

I agree with backofthelab. Don't pass it like if you were smuggling it, glass pipes ain't illegal (at least not yet).

 

^^^na, they just check you for metal. They make you empty your pockets though, no matter what, so someone will see it. You just got to make them belive it's for tobbacco.

 

A friend of mine put his in his luggage, and when they found it, they made him break it on the ground and throw it away. Actually, they made his mom do it....

 

thats why i think if i tape it to my leg they wont see it since i have to empty my pocets

 

Yeah, the store I bought mine was called "tobbaco pipes". They had these giant glass pipes that looked like chinese mythology dragons, but ONLY to use with tobbaco hehehe

It was here in Nashville. He was on his way to Hawaii. I called him a friend, but it was really my son's father, and I thought it was funny that the dumb bastard got caught.

 

I just bought a brass "water pipe" at a thrift store for $2!! But, since it's from a thrift store it's been used and i need to get it home from Bermuda to FL. Alcohol does the trick?? I plan on taking it apart and packing it all seperate in with my stuff.

Well at least we know the worst that can happen is getting your pipe broken in the floor, your not going to jail or anything. Who knows, the guy at the airport might even turn out to say: Nice tobbaco pipe, I have my own collection at home. heh

 

yeah dude, theyre not worried about us anymore, they gotta concentrate on terrorists with nail clippers...i was at an airport early this year and realized i could've walked on the plane with my pipe and sac in my front pocket. cleaning it probably is a good idea though.

 

if it's a glass pipe, i assure you, it is NOT unbreakable...

 

This may be slightly off-topic, but I doubt anyone would ever smoke tobacco out of a glass pipe. At least, I've never met anyone that does..
