taking baby to a concert--ear protection

Hi,
I can't wait to take my lil guy to a show.
Can I get some recommendations and info on those protective headphones/ear muffs from someone with experience?
This is really important to us, because hearing loss runs in my family, and I'm pretty sure too many concerts too young contributed to mine!
