Could anyone be so kind as to sum up the basic beliefs or codes of Paganism for me please? I'm very interested. Please, not too many big words ;P

THere is no "basic" belief of "paganism"......If you wanna chat with me sometime i can tell you of the animistic world view....its the what spawned the "paganisms" of the past 40,000 years.....and i can tell you about my Celtic branch of it....or you could read my journal...it has loads in there...

If in doubt read the FAQ ... http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77322

Otherwise I agree with Heron (yeah like that's a rarity). Your question is similiar to asking 'what do flowers look like?'. Sure they have certain things in common but there are so many diffrences it's near impossible to say... and I think flowers have more in common than philosophies. Just summing up Wicca is hard enough and that's only one 'sect'.

Once you've done some research (I think using your initative is a common theme) and got some more specific questions then we'll have a better chance of providing a satisfying answer. Considering how many times people ask vauge questions like this I still don't have a good answer.

Heron, I dig all of your posts and where your head is. the only thing I have to add here is that 40,000 years is probably far too low a number. Keep writing good things and following the path with heart.
