The yellow Pee Chee All Season Portfolio was a common American stationery item in the second half of the 20th century, commonly used by students for storing school papers. It was first produced in 1943 by the Western Tablet and Stationery Company of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Pee Chees were later produced by the Mead Corporation.
These relatively inexpensive folders were made of card stock and had two internal pockets for the storage of loose leaf paper. The pockets were printed with a variety of reference information including factors for converting between Imperial and metric measurement units, and a multiplication table. The folders had fallen out of general use by the 2000s, but are available from Mead as of 2010.
The illustrations on Pee Chee folders changed occasionally over the years, but usually depicted high school age students engaged in sports or other activities. The major difference from the Pee Chee and other paper folders were the inside pockets. Pee Chee had pockets located at the sides, not the bottom, which prevented the contents from falling out if the folder was inadvertently stored upside-down.

It's amazing how absolutely everything is "because of evolution" in the most vague of ways nowadays. All it takes is a little imagination and you've got yourself a scientific explanation!

 

Well, in order for it to be evolution we would have had to been asshole teenagers for decades by now and the only reason we're so prevalent today is because of the internet/media. This is developmental psychology, is it? The immaturities of us teenagers are just in result of a phase where we start to think we've got the idea.

I took ethics last year at some point and learned of the levels in understanding. Each being defined as an age group which is exactly what I think the case is here, teens are just falling into their phase OR never grew out of the last one, its debatable. However it is believed that few ever surpass the third stage and select few reach the 5th (example, MLK or Gandhi), or at least I think there is five.

 

It helps to have a vocabulary that enables you to make things sound scientific.

evolution=change over time. it is that simple and that vague.

this article would be a falsity according to margaret meade...just sayin. it's individual societies that creates this evolution. while pacific island teenagers continues to be angels, american teens become more demonic.

 

These studies are always done by adults who have forgotten that they were teens.

 

Firstly, that is a blanket statement. I think we've all known teens who are angels and teens who are demons, regardless of their region of origin.
And secondly, I would attribute a teen's behavior to upbringing and societal trends before I'd invoke things like genetic disposition.
