i can't tell if it's weird, too immodest, makes me look fat, or is cute.

i decided on a light blue 3/4 sleeved turtle neck, black pencil skirt, black tights, and black sling back heels.. woot.

 

I didn't want to tell you I didn't like it. Empire waists are for stick figures and pregnant women, imo.

 

I like the color, but it does make you look fat.

 

I dont like it. it looks like maternity wear to me. I associate those outfits with pregnant women. always have.

 

I agree with Autentique, that cut of top doesn't really flatter the female figure. It tightens too high up (just below the boobies) thus making you lose your waist.

I don't know anything about fashion, but I am surprisingly knowledgeble about how to hide squidgy bits

Me: Apparently Sian's coming back to school, she said she lost loads of weight.
V: She's probably fatter.
F: I don't know, I saw her a while back and she was wearing skinny jeans.
V: they were probably normal jeans.

I LOVE empire waists though...I feel like they are super flattering, but that shirt, not so much. Its got to have something else to it. It doesnt hang right. No clean lines.

 

Empire waistlines are my friends. Most of my weight is in my chest, so my stomach looks much flatter when I wear empire waist shirts.

That shirt isn't that flattering on you though.

 

Just make sure you smile and no one will even notice what your wearing
