He is one of the best and most prolific humour fantasy authors around today.

His discworld series numbers over 30 books and they're so fucking funny! I love Terry Pratchett SO much.

Have you guys heard of him and if not, go out today and get one of his books.

My favourite characters are Commander Vimes and Granny Weatherwax. I always feel that they are the same person with the same soul but just male and female. I love them. :D

Lol, I not only have heard of Terry Pratchett, but I've met him too. He wasn't in the best of moods, but if you'd been signing books for nearly 3 hours, I guess u wouldn't be either. I love his books, my favourite is probably either Pyramids or Going Postal. I think my favourite character would be Death, simply because he just doesn't really GET stuff!

I'm a fan :D CMOT Dibbler and the tramps are the best characters, them and Nobby Nobbs. I've got Night Watch on CD that I sometimes listen to when going to sleep

I went to a signing once and got bored, so I never met him, but pretty much everyone says he's a cranky old asshole. I guess I can forgive him, as he's one of the few writers whose books I can read in less than a week.

Small Gods is my personal favourite, with Jingo closely after.

yes, yes...Terry Pratchett is like...mmm...an emulation blueprint. Clever, but accessible--if only textbooks at schools were like his books, literacy might rise. I've only read Jingo and the Colour of Magic, though, so I dunno how accurate that summation is. Is he honestly a codger? Maybe that just goes to show that nobody should judge anyone on personality, but on their achievements...

I've heard of him. I have yet to read him, but I hear good things about his sci-fi collections. That would be my first taste if I had a choice.
