PCiQ is a supposedly serious and high quality test that asks you questions about computers, software and hardware. Then it determines your Iq in terms of Computer knowledge. Its actually the most interesting test I have ever taken and I would suggest that anyone here interested and knowledgable in computers to take it. There are 3 sets of tests: The mini question one,the standard 25 question one,and the Full 50 question one. Some questions are: A firewire is A/an: What is a search engine? Versions of Intel's Pentium 4 CPUs can be fitted into all of the following sockets except: RAID is a/an: Which would have the largest file size? Test: www.pciqtest.com I took the FULL TEST and got 52% (Some of the stuff i didnt know what it was )
That was actually really impressive, test wise. Most of the online tests concerning computers are usually not that great and really don't put your knowledge to much of a challenge. That one is really good.^^ Here's mine:
The computer IQ makers didn't have enough computer Intelligence to code the test right. What poppycock.
I got the first question right im pretty sure then it asked me what they were showing me in the picture, but there was no pic to be found on that page, so i gave up because the test isn't fair. How am i supposed to know what is in the pic if there is not pic?? wtf
Not too sure about that test. Pics didn't show regardless of what browser and OS I used. Plus some of the questions were not very accurate. Anyway I took the full test and even with guessing on the picture questions I got an 86% 43 out of 50 correct. Bet if the pics worked I would score close to 100% I actually found it to be rather easy and simplistic.
^^^ no flash or too old flash, maybe? that's my problem also found the questions i could see to be nothing to brag about . . .
I tend to doubt that it would be an issue with Flash. I updated it right before taking the test on one system, plus it looks as though that site/test hasn't been updated since 2009, so I don't think flash version would be the answer. I even just re-installed flash and still no pics. Then again, this test is pretty lame. Some of the questions/answers are not exactly correct, many are outdated now in regards to technology, and some actually reveal a LACK of knowledge on the part of the person who devised the test. Scored an 83% this time, but also skipped 5 picture questions and missed 1. So 44/50 including the skipped ones. Also curious why I got an 83% this time when last night I got a 86%, but missed 1 more question
Dude, I tried it with IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera. didn't work with any of them. So I guess you could safely say it doesn't work with ANY of the mainstream popular browsers.
