thats a whole lotta tomatos

thats how many tomatos my mom just bought. if you had that many tomatos, what would YOU do with them?

 

make a HUGE batch of chili

 

which is what were doing, chilli and chilli sauce, which is cool...shes also makign me a vegetable stock so woot....besides chilli, what would you do with all these tomatos?

 

man that aint a lot of tomatoes,, weve already harvested at least 12 of those boxes full since the end of june..
what do we do with them?/
eat them on sandwichs,make spaghetti sauce,can them,cook with them,give them away..

Yeah, chili.... um you can make a chicken salad and stuff the tomatoe with it (like stuffed peppers, only different and dont cook it), of course plain ole tomatoe sandwiches are bangin. .... um BLT's ......

it aint braggin its called putting things into perspective,,anyone that has a garden knows,,that aint a lot of tomatoes..

just cause we try an grow as much of our own food as we can is no reason to assume im any more or less of a hippie than i ever was..

i ate some cherry tomatoes from my garden, but they weren't quite ready and it made me a little sick

 

no no! cherry tomatoes are the small ones, like miniature tomatoes, very tasty, plum tomatoes are like regular tomatoes but have a slightly elongated shape and have a diffrent taste
