The "AT Awards" by Alternative Thinker

There are quite many people from the Hip Forums who deserve at least an award. But I can only come up with so many at one time so, if you are not on the list below, I ask that you be patient.

The following is only the first edition, and I do intend to update it from time to time, though, I do not know how often I will be able to do it. Again, please be patient. Also, there will most likely be those who will receive the same award(s) more than once. Please DO keep in mind that these awards have been created solely based on my opinions to show my own appreciation for the Hip Forum members of my choice, and that any repeated nomination/winning of a certain award(s) by the same member(s) are NOT to be reagarded as the result of unfair judgment.

Lastly, I am aware that there are those from the list below whom I have yet to make acquaintances with. I hope that this will only be a temporary issue...though, you might feel differently about it, lol.

First, it is my pleasure to be able to celebrate all your beauties and grace.

Naturally, I'm a bit shocked to hear this is your first time receiving an award, Laura. But I think the time has come for you to start getting nominated for many awards from here onward, and I also believe you've also won one of the Sara_Rose Awards, yes? See, Laura... People aren't blind.

Now, lakshen, I think I have an idea as to whom you might be talking about.... If my guess is correct, she's already a winner under another category, so I shall remember to include her under the "Cutest Smile" for the 2nd edition.

And yes, freckles rock bigtime! Well, everyone knows you're hot, tigerlily, and that's why your dangermoose won the award for the Luckiest SOB as well.

But I say this ain't bad at all for my first attempt in holding the AT Awards ceremony, eh. I mean, I've chosen well, don't ya think?

I know the next edition will include more people as well. We shall see......

Hmmm... I have no idea...

But When I get the next list all sorted out, I'll be sure to post it here.

In the meantime, I've been thinking about this whole thing... The concept of having all these different awards made by different people for the forum members.., and I think it's a fabulous idea. I mean, I believe everyone is entitled to receive some kind of award, and this place provides it for them.

Of course, it seems there are those who have yet to receive any award, but I believe that is a temporary issue provided that they make themselves known and establish themselves as a member here. That basically means they need to post more messages on the forums so other people can get to know them at least to a certain degree. I frequent certain forums here, so I've only come across those who are regular posters there. So my AT Awards, for the most part, are made for such people since I don't really know many others.

I only hope those "regular" posters from as many different forums here will come up with some kind of award so there will be more people who will be on the receiving end.
