the first time i watched this movie i was laughing histarically.

but then i remember they were probably being very serious and metaphorical about it maybe?

but it was a great cartoon. i wish i could buy it but i cant fint it!! what do you think about it? did you get anything out of it?
just curious how people evaluate movies.. especially this one..
so come on, did you learn anything? Did you see any hidden messages? Was there like a bindblowing reason for every scene, character, line? maybe it was just a bunch of crazy drug heads who threw some rubbish together with a catchy beat? dunno man dunno ..watcha think?

I don't think they put any drug references in there on purpose, it is just a silly kids movie that happens to be interesting enough for adults. I hate when people come around and say oh it's corny, oh it's childish and give some sophisticated critique to make themselves look smart. Well duh it's corny, it's a kids movie, made during the middle of the psychadelic period! Just accept it for what it is, and if you don't like it, don't watch it.

*scratches head* yeah, seriously--its a kids movie, with a story partially written by a guy who had never heard of the Beatles when he was asked to do the story for it

One of my favourite films, I love it! Although The Beatles only 'made' the soundtrack and played a brief cameo. If the storyline doesn't float your boat, just enjoy the colours and the music!

It's a visual musical thing. I loved it. Bought the DVD and play occasionally.

That movie is awesome. But, I'm a Beatles fanatic anyway...love everything they did.

I loved it! I went to see it in the theatre when it was released. I also bought the VHS and later the DVD when they finally became available. I also have the paper back book that is probably rare. At least I've not seen it anywhere since I bought it nearly 40 years ago.
