Fair play to them, they did put on quite a spectacular show. I particularly liked the globe with all the people running round it at different angles and the skyscrapers made to look like candles swaying in the wind. All of it doesn't stop Chinese government from being a bunch of corrupt torturing polluting nazi cunts though, but at least its a progress. I'd rather go and see a good band play and get blazed and dance to my own internal rhythm anyday than go and see this kind of thing, or even an eclipse.
How would a seemingly ignorant fool such as yourself be able to assess the morality/decency of any foreign government? Let alone the reality of the United states. The Chinese are polluting-corrupt-torturing-Nazi cunts? You are narrow. I'll let you in one something. You were raised and conditioned to believe in that fashion. Yet, you're not the only one, don't feel bad. Those evil fucks do think the same of us and they also can justify their view points. We pollute. On a larger scale. We torture. Japaneses interment and Iraqi detainees. We are just as corrupt as them, if not more. If you'd rather be blazed out, dancing to your own internal rhythm to a good band instead of watching the Oylmpics...why are you watching? Have a fantastic day.
Actually you know the fireworks going off in this line, and the helicopter is flying over the top and the camera is moving. Doesn't it look spectacular? I think that bit is faked. I think it is a computer generated sequence, it looks too perfect. Why do I think this? I'll give you a clue: The ... measure the chinese government went to lower pollution in the days running up to the event. (it was a part of the show that didn't work due to poor visibilty I think)
Lucky you drew short of me reporting that diatribe, and also I only read half it. Fuck you. Meet my friend Iggy Pop.
Quite a bit different than the Tiananmen Square protest back in 1989; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-nXT8lSnPQ Oh that’s right, Tiananmen Square has been cordoned off for the duration of the Olympics (and no protests allowed) for reasons of security hotwater
Yes I saw some tibetan people getting carried away in vans, but I think it was probably all part of the show, they probably wont show the real oppressive shit.
I loved that guy with the Tibetan flag painted on his forehead, it looked really fucking great, I reckon there'll be folks wearing t-shirts with that image in years to come, like some symbol of anti-repression.
Very easily. I watched how the red carpet was rolled out for that nazi **** Jiang Zemin few years ago, while buddhist protestor were wrestling with police on Whitehall, London. Nuff seen.
At this point a nuke could go off in the olympic village and the chinese would chalk it up to a rogue asteroid Hotwater
I have to say I'm surprised at the vitriolic sentiment against the Chinese that the Olympics are making apparent. I know the western media has been working all angles since the Chinese has become a medium-term economic threat. Even that of pollution, which coming from the West is just laughable. But I never thought it'd be this bad. Most of the intolerance seems to come from self-proclaimed liberals too, which is weird. Ok, so there is corruption and injustice in China. And your point is?
That there is corruption and injustice in China. Our point is, fuck china, or fuck capitalism. Pick your tick, same ting. We love peace, and things that chime in here.
Would you be as vociferous were the Olympics taking place in Britain? It's been bombing Iraq regularly now for about two decades.
