Following a set structure of beliefs limits your mind. every person has their own religion, so dont follow something/someone else. Hitler once said, "It is fortunate for leaders that men do not think."

    I'm an Audreyist. ROCK ON

yes but its an organized religion in which the only thing organized is me. and its not even that organized, because it changes spontaneous and without pattern and cause. and no one knows what it is.

just what are some of the key beliefs?
what would I have to belief (at minimum) to consider myself to be (at least a little) Audreyist?

You ought to check out the philosophical works of William James (to my mind, the greatest philosopher to come out of the U.S.) - particularly interesting are his writings on "Empirical Pragmatism." I think many of his lectures are online. His line of reasoning proves exactly what you are implying (or at least it comes very close).

well, first of all that everything in the world can be broken down into the same core elements, then atoms, which essentially makes everything one in the same just in different combinations (kind of like DNA, four bases, millions of species).

secondly, one would have to acknowledge that reality is not totally in our control. reality is not always what the brain creates, it is partly what the eyes see. the world goes on without our presence...so for instance you really do exist outside of me and my mind even though i cannot sense you right now.

thirdly, that life is meant to be a lesson, each unique to the individual. everything has a purpose, place, and time. you can't escape what you must know before you can transgress into the next level of being.

fourthly, time is a sense. it is percieved, and should be treated as such. it is objectively the same, but different to each subject.

fifthly, there is no such thing as hell, or heaven. it's just, NEXT

Sixthly, never listen to authority. only listen to your gut instincts, and sometimes you need to tell your brain to fuck off.

agreeing with everything, sorry i didnt add the last part. its crucial. and that is obvious...its impossible to always agree and when someone claims to do so, i feel like they are just avoiding judgement.

well of course it's impossible to always agree with everyone but it is possible for someone to always agree with you, jsut very highly improbable
